Before any paint correction is done on the vehicle, a thorough hand wash is performed. The vehicle is properly washed and cleaned to remove any loose dirt and debris, then after the wash process, the vehicle is clayed with a special automotive clay bar.

Paint correction is a very labor intensive process and is usually the most time consuming part of the car detailing process.

LEVELS OF PAINT CORRECTION

CORRECTION FOR NEWER VEHICLES:

Vehicles in great condition – This process removes light swirl marks (40-50% defect removal) to restore gloss, paint and brighten the color.  Note: This process will not completely eliminate the underlying scratches often seen beneath many layers of smaller swirl marks.

CORRECTION ON OLDER VEHICLES:

This process is highly recommended for the majority of older vehicles! This process restores and renews/brightens the paint, removing medium to heavy swirls marks and most scratches (depends on the depth) 80% + defect removal.  Defects include most water spots, insects and bird splats.
