Dan Maya is the founder of Auto Perfection in Hackettstown, NJ which opened in 2008. He started his detailing career over 26 years ago. He found his passion as a detailer while working for another detailer at the young age of 18. Him and his wife took a chance in 2008 and opened a small detail shop in Hackettstown not thinking it would grow as fast as it did. He also services local used car lots with their detailing needs as well as large volume dealerships in NJ and NY.

He loves his community in Hackettstown. He says “it’s a small town with lots of great small businesses including restaurants, breweries, bars, consignment shops, a university, grocery stores, antique shops…. etc. and all within walking distance to the shop. He has participated in local events to help out the community and near by schools. He has also been to numerous auto shows locally and including Sema which is the largest auto show in the world in Vegas. He believes in always tightening his skills and loves to learn about new products and techniques.

He enjoys making customers happy and bringing their vehicles, boats, jet skis, motorcycles, motorhomes, trucks, campers, etc., to a new or almost new like condition. He says “we feel good when we drive in a clean and odorless-free car”.

Auto Perfection provides interior and exterior cleaning services that meet the client’s needs. They handle everything from a simple hand car wash and vacuum to a more intensive cleaning jobs, including, steaming, scrubbing, shampooing and deodorizing interiors, and applying waxes, polishes, or other detail products to vehicles, boats, jet skis, motorcycles, motorhomes, trucks, campers, etc. They take pride in their work. The customers needs are the upmost importance.

Him and his wife are residents of Mt. Olive for 21 years and have 4 boys one of which is a manager at the detail shop in Hackettstown. They have 2 dogs and a tortoise. They enjoy family time and visiting their home country of Puerto Rico, they love the beach, hiking and running.
